Commissioned by CATHAYA, the world‘s leading manufacturer of silk, we curated this exhibition and named it “The Dictionary of Patterns.”. By using the “cocoon” as the main element, we take the visitors to retrace the history of the brand. In the form of an archive, the exhibition booth displayed hundreds of pattern samples chosen from the company’s library of the past seven decades. After walking through the cocoon tunnel, visitors could finally “read” this dictionary of patterns. The pure color of silk helps people to slow down and concentrate only on the texture and patterns.
